This discipline is normally referred to as 'Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette' and is divided into three different sections and details for each of these are as follows:

RIMFIRE

This area covers the pump action and lever action rimfire rifle.

Open or peep sights can be used and the front sight must be a blade or post as in this competition any form of optical sight is prohibited.  Spotting may be carried out with binoculars as the use of spotting scopes is prohibited.

Metallic silhouette targets are shot as follows
You are given 30 seconds to load 5 rounds in your magazine and then

PISTOL CALIBRE

This area covers lever action rifles.

Open or peep sights can be used and the front sight must be a blade or post as in this competition any form of optical sight is prohibited.  Spotting may be carried out with binoculars as the use of spotting scopes is prohibited.

Metallic silhouette targets are shot as follows
You are given 30 seconds to load 5 rounds in your magazine and then

FULLBORE

This area covers the lever action centrefire rifles of .25" calibre and above.

Open or peep sights can be used and the front sight must be a blade or post as in this competition any form of optical sight is prohibited.  Spotting may be carried out with binoculars as the use of spotting scopes is prohibited.

Club shoots are held on the Third Saturday of every month on the 200 metre pistol range with a 2.00pm start.  It is best to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time.
