General Information
Pig & Plate competitions are shot in the 200m Pistol Range.
Please make sure to familiarise yourself with the Format and Range Commands used for this compettion.
PIG & PLATE SHOOT FORMAT INFORMATION
Targets
54 Steel targets at distances varying from 10m - 37.5m
Ammunition Required
Centerfire 9mm - 38 Special (magnum loads not suitable for night competition)
54 rounds of ammunition.
Maximum Attendance
The attendance limit for this competition as set by the shoot captains will be limited to 28 competitors.
Unlicensed Members
Unlicensed SSAA Brisbane Pistol Section Members may attend some of the regular competitions under the following conditions:
- They have been signed off as competent in the same firearm type (Rimfire, CF Revolver, CF S/Auto) Competency must be displayed to the Shoot Captain when signing on.
- They attend the shoot with a licensed member who will act as their supervisor and provide the firearm to be used
- The licensed members is permitted to bring a maximum of 1 unlicensed guest;
- Unlicensed members are not permitted to attend action type matches;
