Yes! If you're at least 11 years old and in good standing, you can shoot under special supervision. Just bring an official Photo ID (driver’s licence, passport, school/university ID, etc.) and sign a statutory declaration that you’re not excluded under Queensland law.
What should I bring?
Everyone on the range must wear appropriate clothing. At a minimum, this means:
- Fully enclosed shoes (no thongs, sandals, or Crocs)
- A shirt/top that covers your torso (no singlets or sleeveless shirts)
- Only one piece of camouflage clothing (maximum 50% camo)
- No clothing or items that could cause concern (e.g., military flak jackets, combat vests)
We also provide earplugs as part of the Try Shooting Packages, but if you have sensitive hearing or prefer earmuffs, feel free to bring your own! We also have earmuffs available for purchase at the range. Please note that noise-cancelling headphones/earbuds are not suitable for hearing protection.
Is there an alcohol policy?
Yes, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs while participating in shooting activities. It’s also illegal to possess or use a weapon under the influence, as per the Weapons Act 1990 (Qld).
